Notifications: Telegram

This guide covers how to set up Telegram channel notifications for your Sellhub store using Telegram channels & bots. It's a simple process that will allow you to receive notifications about new orders, restocks and more.

Getting Started

1. Navigate to your notfications secction under store settings.
2. Decide which notifications you want to receive on your Telegram channel.

Creating a Telegram Bot

We are now going to Telegram in order to create a bot in the specific channel you want to receive notifications.

1. Open your Telegram app and search for the BotFather.
2. Click on "Start" and then "/newbot".
3. Name your bot and select a username for it.
4. Copy the token that is generated for your bot.

Linking Sellhub & Telegram Channel

Once your bot is created, click on "Copy Token" and paste it in the Telegram Bot Token section in Sellhub.

1. Send a message in your channel and right click on the message to copy the message link.
2. The link will look like this: https://t.me/c/123456789/1234.
3. Copy the 123456789 part of the link and paste it in the Telegram Chat ID section in Sellhub.
4. You can now press "Save Changes" on Sellhub.

Adding the Bot to Telegram Channel

You will need to add the bot to your Telegram channel in order to receive notifications.

1. Open your Telegram channel and click on the settings icon.
2. Click on Administrators and then "Add Administrator".
3. Search for your bot and add it as an administrator.

You should now have Telegram Notifications successfully connected to your Sellhub store.
